With a passion for music that ignited at the age of 13, Claudia Fain embarked on a journey that has defined much of her life. Starting with singing, she found herself drawn to the amazing world of music when she enrolled in choir and signed up for a solo and ensemble competition which set the stage for a lifelong pursuit of musical expression.
Throughout her school years, she explored various musical avenues, including playing the bassoon for three years and delving into piano lessons, both of which provided her with invaluable insights into the intricacies of musical composition and performance.
While in high school, Claudia garnered recognition for her musical abilities, securing 5th place in the NATS competition, a testament to her dedication and talent. This early accolade fueled her determination to continue refining her craft and seeking opportunities to share her musical gifts with the world.
Her collegiate years at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she pursued a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre from 2009 to 2013, further honed her skills and deepened her appreciation for the transformative power of music.
Claudia's musical journey has taken her far and wide, from immersive theatre performances in Virginia, Texas, Kentucky, and Maryland to teaching music theatre during the challenging times of the pandemic in 2020.
As an educator, her goal is to empower every student to embrace their unique talents and forge their own path in the world of music. She strives to cultivate an environment of exploration and experimentation, where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, embrace failure as part of the learning process, and discover the boundless possibilities that music offers.
It is her greatest joy and privilege to share her passion for music with others, nurturing the next generation of artists and inspiring them to unlock their full potential in the pursuit of musical excellence.
