Jared Austin, a dedicated and accomplished musician, embarked on his journey with the violin at the tender age of 6. Born into a family with a professional musician father, Austin's early exposure to the world of music ignited a lifelong passion that would shape his career.
Austin's formative years were enriched by his attendance at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, laying the foundation for his artistic development. Eager to hone his craft, he pursued higher education at Texas Christian University, where he earned both a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Music Performance. His commitment to excellence was underscored by the recognition of a full-ride scholarship for his Bachelor's Degree, accompanied by a Graduate Teaching-Assistantship during his pursuit of a Master's Degree.
Beyond his classical repertoire, Austin's versatility as a musician is evident in his diverse musical pursuits. His portfolio includes not only orchestral, chamber, and solo performances but also an immersion in Mariachi music, a genre to which he has devoted many years of dedicated practice.
Driven by a profound love for music education, Austin has seamlessly transitioned into the role of a dedicated teacher. Fueled by a desire to impart his wealth of knowledge and instill a love for music in others, he approaches teaching with enthusiasm and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians.
