Carlee Abschneider has been singing ever since she could speak. Her first musical debut was at age 4 on a Southwest Airlines flight to Oklahoma to visit her grandparents, where she stood in her seat and sang "Oklahoma" in its entirety upon landing. Carlee continued her singing in choirs and became increasingly serious about her solo singing in high school. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Houston Baptist University, where she was a finalist in HBU's inaugural Concerto/Aria Contest.

Carlee has won and been a finalist at the Greater Houston Area National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition several times. She recently was selected to participate in Resonance Opera Young Artist Program in Brenham, TX where she participated in a scenes production performing the roles of Flordiligi from Cosi fon Tutti and Hannah from Die lustige Witve. In spring 2018 she played Arline in HBU Opera Workshop's production of The Bohemian Girl.

Carlee is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Vocal Performance at Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is passionate about teaching and sharing her love of music with students. Carlee offers voice lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, and piano lessons to students at the beginner through beginner-intermediate levels.
