Jasmyne LeDosquet has had a love for music and the stage since she was three. She grew up in a large family where music was very important, and began singing in church at age four. She then added acting to music when she turned ten. Jasmyne was actively involved in numerous stage productions throughout her school years, and landed many lead roles, including the role of Annie from Annie, the Witch from Into the Woods, and Sarah Brown from Guys and Dolls. She received numerous vocal competition awards, including the Best in Center Award, and the Outstanding Performance Award for overall solo two years in a row. She also received a Fine Arts scholarship to pursue her degree in music.

While attending college at BYU-Idaho, Jasmyne developed a deep passion for opera and has loved it ever since. Jasmyne is a classically trained mezzo-soprano who starred in many opera scene productions during her time at BYU-Idaho, including the role of Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti, as well as Carmen, from Georges Bizet's Carmen. While attending school, Jasmyne had the great honor of being selected by the faculty to perform Poulenc's Gloria with BYU-Idaho's collegiate singers and the Idaho Falls Symphony.

Jasmyne's love for education (along with some help from her spunky, go-getter attitude) led her to realize that she was born to teach and help others reach their potential. She wants every student to learn that they have something valuable to offer, and that through hard work and determination they can be successful.
