Anamaria Ciur is a dedicated musician and educator who has been teaching music since 2006. She uses a wide variety of teaching styles and methods, incorporating aspects of Orff, Kodaly, Kindermusic and Bastiene philosophies (to name a few) in order to determine the way each individual student learns best. With a wide range of experience working with children, including teaching music in public school as well as privately, scoring for children's television broadcasts, participation in local and national competitions, and choral conducting, Anamaria creates innovative lesson plans that are tailored to each student's specific needs.
She is an active member in the Dallas and Fort Worth Romanian community, and in 2007 and 2008 organized “An Evening for the Romanian Soul” - a Christmas concert featuring original composition and rearranged songs.
Anamaria takes pride in the fact that her private students, as well as choirs she has conducted, have won multiple national competitions.
