Nick Creed is a singer, composer, and horn and bass guitar player from Fort Worth, Texas. His musical journey began in 6th grade band with the French horn, sparking a lifelong passion that quickly expanded to include piano, bass guitar, and eventually, singing. By high school, he had become a dedicated vocalist, performing in various ensembles and finding his voice both literally and artistically.

Throughout his career, Nick has performed in rock bands and on classical stages alike, including singing with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the Dallas Symphony Chorus. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Tarleton State University, where he majored in Vocal Performance, studied Opera, and continued developing his skills on French horn. His passion for both performing and creating music led him to earn a Master’s degree in Music Composition from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, where he honed his craft as a composer for a wide range of performing ensembles.

Nick has been an educator for over 13 years, directing choirs and teaching private voice lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Currently, he serves as the Tenor Section Leader at First Methodist Grapevine and continues to teach privately, sharing his deep love of music with others.

He credits many incredible teachers for helping him discover his own musical potential and for inspiring him to become a teacher himself. For Nick, the most rewarding part of teaching is guiding students as they develop their unique relationship with music, achieve their personal goals, and—most importantly—have fun along the way. He believes music is truly for everyone, and helping others realize that is the most incredible thing he has accomplished.
