Daniel L Seeger is a seasoned performer and vocal coach whose vocal style ranges from classical to classic rock. A graduate of Texas Woman’s University, he holds a Master of Arts in Vocal Pedagogy, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Music with emphasis in vocal performance, music composition, and music education. Daniel is a versatile artist and has performed in such roles as Falstaff (Evening with the Bard), Simone (Gianni Schicchi), Grandpa Moss (The Tender Land), Baptist Preacher (Denton Square Roots), Papageno (The Magic Flute), and will appear as Old Deuteronomy in the Denton Community Theater’s production of Cats.
Daniel’s teaching philosophy is “Your voice is good enough. We just need to bring it out.” As a vocal pedagogue, Daniel is an expert in diagnosing vocal faults and finding new, individualized methods of instructing each student. He has taught students ranging in age from 12 to 76, and is skilled in working with both adult and adolescent voices. Daniel also composes music that spans pop, classical, and modern genres, with his most notable works performed by the Owina School in Nigeria.
