Bass Lessons

Our program's bass instructors posses a wealth of musical knowledge and experience and teach all levels of bass instruction.

Beginner bass lessons focus on fundamental techniques important for establishing a rich foundation. More advanced players will begin to work on exercises to develop plucking, fretting and string muting coordination as well as different bass techniques and styles like slapping, popping and thumb technique. From the very start, our teachers incorporate ear training, notation and music theory into our lessons to build a strong knowledge of musical structure.

Our private bass lessons will provide students with the skills necessary to read and write music and improvise bass lines in a variety of styles.
