Christopher Evans started his musical journey when he started concert band in middle school. During instrument tryouts, he was best at the trombone and tuba and decided to focus on trombone.

Christopher continued playing for his middle school concert band on trombone, and continued this throughout high school. Christopher marched for the Sherman High School Bearcat band which went to state marching competition in 2011. They made it to finals that year, and was the #10 band in the state in 2013. The band was also invited to Bands of America in his senior year. In addition to marching band, Christopher was also part of the high school jazz band starting his junior year where he also performed on trombone.

During Concert band season, Christopher performed for the Wind Ensemble which was the top performing concert band out the three separate concert bands in Sherman high school. In 2018, after high school, Christopher attended Grayson College in which he received his Associates of Arts in Music. There, he performed for the Viking Concert band, Viking Choir, and Austin College Wind Symphony. During this time he began focusing on piano as well. He continued this throughout his years at Grayson College, having piano as his secondary instrument. Christopher was also part of the Grayson College Music club where members attended music performances or performed gigs around campus. He was the secretary and historian officer for the club.

After Grayson College, Christopher attended Texas Womans University to receive his Bachelors of Music. Christopher performed for the University Band, Jazz band, and Trombone Studio in which has been invited to TMEA (Texas Music Education Association) to perform in 2019.

Some notable awards Christopher has received were music scholarships for Grayson College and Texas Womans University. At Grayson College, Christopher received two awards for most outstanding freshman in music and most improved music student. Currently, Christopher performs for his church worship band every Sunday and Wednesday on trombone, piano, and synthesizer. He is an enthusiastic teacher and dearly enjoys teaching his students.
